The next Journal News/lohud Editorial Board coffee chat will be held in Peekskill on Friday, Dec. 11, at Peekskill Coffee House, 101 South Division Street, from 9 to 10 a.m.
The Editorial Board and members of lohud's news team have been holding a series of coffee chats in communities throughout Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties with local residents, elected officials and community stakeholders.
This month we are featuring our very own TPCH Alumni Mrs. Alana McGovern! She has been working hard all year to bring us a full assortment of beautifully handmade Aprons and Bows just in time for the holidays!
All of the Aprons are one of a kind, handmade. They hold up to many washings and are just stunning in person! Come on in and check them out.

This holiday season we are working with the Love Holds Life Children's Cancer Foundation to raise money for families in need. We will be accepting donations of $1, $5, $10 (and up) at the register through the end of December.
*Love Holds Life is a Nonprofit Organizaition whose mission is to help children in the New York Metro and Hudson Valley region battling cancer and their familied by providing financial support for their medical treatments and expenses not covered by insurance.

This month we are displaying the art work and activities of students attending New Era Creative Spaces (NECS), a local Peekskill program that aims to enrich the lives of children through an array of creative activities. Among some of the programs offered at NECS are performing and visual arts, science and technology, youth leadership, as well as workshops for adults and parents.
